 The OHANA Islander Waikiki is a 283-room, 12-story hotel centrally located in the heart of Waikiki, on Kalakaua Avenue next to Planet Hollywood, the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, and the newly opened DFS Galleria, plus, the gateway to many happenings on Lewers Street. The room and public areas underwent part of an $8 million, renovation process in 1997 and still stands beautifully decorated with a soft tropical pastel palette, offering amazing views of Kalakaua and Diamond Head, not to mention partial views of the blue Pacific. The Islander Waikiki features a Food Court restaurant, which is the first of its kind in Waikiki, with a variety of eateries.
